When Wedgewood's organist, Bill Skinner, died of AIDS the congregation was heartbroken. In response to Bill's death many years ago some of us at Wedgewood felt called to be a part of a RAIN (Regional AIDS Interfaith Network) team. The team continues to this day having ministered to several carepartners throughout the years.

We pray for a cure for AIDS. Until that day, we seek to befriend those who have this horrible disease.

We invite you to be a part of our Rain team. The most important aspect of our ministry is establishing and nurturing a relationship with our carepartner. We offer emotional support as well as engaging in tasks such as providing transportation.
