Wedgewood is proud to be the church which ordained Debbie to the gospel ministry! She is also endorsed by the Alliance of Baptists.

Debbie works for RAIN (Regional AIDS Interfaith Network) as Director of Careteam Program.

Debbie also is Major Kidd, that would be Major as in military.  She is a Unit Chaplain in the North Carolina Air National Guard.

Debbie is a popular retreat leader.  Some churches have made a tradition of having Debbie as their retreat leader.

Debbie received her Master of Arts from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, N.C.
She has received Clinical Pastoral Education at Carolinas Medical Center and holds Red Cross Certification in HIV/AIDS and certification in Critical Incident Stress Management. Rev. Kidd received the 2002 “Leadership for a Changing World” award and was featured in Friedricke Merck’s, “For the Greater Good”.

Among Debbie's many interests are sports and traveling.
